Alteryx has launched Alteryx Analytics Cloud, an end-to-end analytics solution that brings its low-code, no-code capabilities to a web browser to help businesses make more informed decisions with their data.
Data out of reach for many
According to Alteryx, unlocking the value from their data remains out of reach to many businesses – both in the cloud or on-premises.
Citing a survey by YouGov it commissioned, Alteryx noted that just 12 percent of workers reported changing business outcomes through self-service analytics.
However, there is growing momentum behind the adoption of cloud data warehouses or lakes to manage increasingly massive data sets by enterprises.
Alteryx says democratizing data analytics and ensuring every employee has access to insights is vital for enterprises that wish to remain competitive.
Alteryx Analytics Cloud
Alteryx Analytics Cloud addresses this need by delivering Alteryx Designer Cloud, Alteryx Machine Learning, Alteryx Auto Insights, and Trifacta Data Engineering Cloud in one unified solution suite.
According to Alteryx, Designer Cloud helps customers extend the power of analytics beyond a select group of data scientists or the analytics department. It can be used to prepare, blend, and output data in a highly visual, code-free way by any user who interacts with data and is interoperable with Alteryx Designer Desktop and Snowflake.
On its part, Alteryx Machine Learning is a cloud-native, automated modeling solution that business analysts can leverage to quickly build, validate, and explore models – without the need for coding.
Finally, Alteryx Auto Insights is a cloud-native analytics solution that delivers AI-driven automated insights to business users, driving data literacy and giving them the confidence to make data-led decisions.
Suresh Vittal, chief product officer of Alteryx noted that the time when only select teams have access to analytics is “gone”.
“As we accelerate the next phase of our cloud growth, our new innovations will bring analytics to all so every business can empower every employee – from data engineers and IT to data analysts and scientists to business users – to make data-informed decisions using analytics automation,” said Vittal.
"Alteryx continues to strengthen its portfolio and accelerate its cloud growth through new product innovations and acquisitions,” said Dan Vesset, group vice president of analytics and information management at analyst firm IDC.
“With the launch of Alteryx Analytics Cloud, they’ll be able to truly extend the value of analytics automation and help their customers – regardless of where a user sits in an organization – use analytics to drive their digital transformation efforts.”
